I love the picture of the pink shirt with darker pink mother of pearl buttons...

Thank you. It's one of my favorites. I'm hoping to bring it to the Regency ... if they ever send it back.

It just strengthens my feeling that all this would make for a wonderfully entertaining film.

I would love to see at least a picture. It angers me that Mr. Kabbaz is half a world away and I do not have a jet to send..

Kudos to Mr.Kabbaz for some well deserved ink. Perusing the Departures fashion index, there are a number of excellent articles about J.M.Weston,Zegna,and a number of other fashion subjects.Great find.

It is not fair that only the insanely rich get to partake of such beauties. <sigh> Perhaps an 80% discount for those who work at nonprofits?

Thank you all. For Roy ... although I would much rather the trip to Amsterdam. Â

That pink button does look very sharp. Let's agree on this then, if you're ever in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam...

Jester--
I know what you mean-- from what I understand, you cannot subscribe to departures magazine (which is one of the best mags in print); you have to have a minimum income of $100,000 and thus also the american express platinum.

I buy the issues on ebay, when I can find them. This new one looks REALLY good, too-- as does the one all about Naples and the tailors/ suit and shirt companies there (still trying to get a hold of that issue).

This is most true.

Some years back, they had an issue with descriptions and photos of some six bespoke taiors (or companies) and their work. I managed to get one (free) simply by pleading with an AmEx telephone operator. How or why this worked I have no idea. Perhaps it helped that I am a Green Card holder, but not much, I bet.
