The title should have said " 38R SUIT WITH 20" SHOULDER MEASUREMENT"
Hi everyone,
I've recently been somewhat active on eBay finding a few great suits here and there. Now I must say that I enjoy more of an 80s approach to suits (slightly oversized shoulders and chest), however, I have stumbled across a double-breasted suit which has a 20-inch shoulder-to-shoulder measurement. I have, at most, worn a 19-inch double-breasted 38R suit, which without the padded shoulders looks oversized. At first, I thought that the seller must have made a mistake in assessing the suit size, however, it was the label that confirmed the 38R suit size. I'm wondering whether you find this strange? Even with a lot of padding, I can't see how a 20" shoulder would work on a 38 suit, especially since that exact measurement is usually reserved for a 42" jacket.
Regards
