I think a true dimepiece female would. Think about it this way: a stylish man may not carry a Berkin bag, wear limited edition Louboutin shoes, or rock a Harry Winston bracelet but we can RECOGNIZE the immense quality/value of the item right? A woman is going to be able to tell a AE from a Lobb simply because she sees the AE about 20 times a day.
I agree with this to a point. I think its going to be tough for anyone to see the difference between multiple pairs of black captoes. However, I think in most cases, people will notice the sleekness of a Lobb on the 7000 versus and AE and make an almost subconscious connection in their mind - that one looks sleeker/nicer/more expensive.
Now, if you put a Lobb captoe in parisian brown museum calf next to an AE in its monotone brown color, I would think this would be "no contest."
