Apparently the India vs Pakistan pool match on Sunday will be the most watched sporting event in history, with more than a billion viewers.
Anyway, it's quite hard to predict a favourite this time around. Australia is strong at home but I still get the feeling that some of their batsmen are a hacks and will struggle against genuinely good bowling. South Africa have 2 of the best ODI players in history in Amla and ABDV, but there's weakness in the lower order and Steyn is not as great in ODIs as in tests. NZ looks strong all around but the openers are inconsistent. Sri Lanka have some greats who will be very motivated for their last shot at glory.
England and India possibly ouside chances.
Afghanistan are my second team. What a story.
