Not to decrease the thread's snark quotient, but I agree, more or less. I like the rumpled suit, but the other details push it right to the edge -- the oddly tied tie, the sleeve button undone. They undermine the illusion that he's as indifferent his clothing as he'd like us to think. Instead, it looks like his slovenliness is calculated. That's distracting, at least for me. If he did up his sleeve button, it would make all the difference. Of course, this is just going on a single photo. Maybe it comes across differently IRL.

I don't think that he is homeless. Perhaps you are just shocked seeing a photograph of a man in a StyleForvm thread who actually might have had sex in the last week.

He gets a pass for being Italian and running a fantastic little shop.

I guess you know from experience that the homeless are much cheaper than regular rent boys.

This.

I'm limited by the self-imposed shackles of iphone pictures taken surreptitiously in the harsh lighting of the office bathroom.

This would have been a better pic to use to start off the discussion (also from The Sartorialist):

The cost differential shrinks if you use a StyleForvm affiliate coupon code.

What you lose in photography, you gain in iconography.
