Yeah, they'll be cheaper here. (usually between 20-40% less)

I happened to be driving by Woolrich, PA today on my way home to WV and decided to stop by the Mill Store. They actually had some of the WWM Fall '09 collection. They had three different plaid button-up shirts, all appear to have been cotton and had elbow patches; there was also a pair of slim, tapered cotton pants. Both of these items (shirts and pants) were $99. They had a button-up wool vest in a red/black and a blue/green/black plaid for $145 and a nice wool red/black plaid driving cap for $45. They also had a couple heavy wool jackets, but I don't really remember any details on them.

The items I described above were definitely all WWM (this was, however, just a small fraction of what the Mill Store carries). I'm not sure what each of these particular items retail for, but I'm certain of the prices I saw.

I can't say for certain, as I haven't seen in this thread any of the pieces I saw at the Mill store (aside from the Railroad Vest), but everything I saw and described in the message above had the vintage "Woolrich Woolen Mills" tag, were all "Made in the USA" and on one of the inside tags had information on an Italian company which I assume heads up this particular line.

What's the main difference? Just different designers?

I got the Adrirondack Hoodie yesterday from Barneys and the tag says both Woolrich John Rich and Woolrich Woolen Mills.

The john rich line is designed in italy and uses not only Woolrich fabrics but other techical fabrics as well. it doesn't always stickto the the traditional workwear/hunting/fishing the WWM does even though that will be changing as well. The fit is slimmer and price points are lower. It also is more logo driven.
Best,
Mauro

Translation--watered down. Logo driven?

I'll give it a chance somewhere where it's styled differently than the photos I've seen.

I wouldn’t say the hoodie is logo driven, kinda hard to be, but the fit is definitely slimmer. It’s the first Woolrich/WWM clothing piece (WWM Chukka Boot aside) that I own, but I have noticed in the past that WWM tend to run truer to size. This piece fits a bit more snug, if anything more of a “style forum” fit. Not too trim but a little slimmer. I am a true L, I bought the Hoodie in L and it fits me just fine, but more tailored and a bit shorter, hit’s just below the hips.

Stopped by MAC over the weekend and took some photos. This is their entire FW09 order.

The two pieces on the far left are not WWM.

The fabric on this is great, one of my favorites for the season across all lines. It's pretty weird though and tough to justify at $600+.

But I just had to try it on:
