Looks real to me. Classic took over their V2 label IIRC. Nothing crazy. Worth maybe $20-$30 if in nice shape/

its licensed crap not even made by versace

and I picked this up... Spoo?

Seems real to me... has custom buttons that say Versace on them, but I'm no expert.

Also, college of thrifting knowledge, anyone ever heard of this brand?

Versace Classic label died out around 04/05 and was replaced by Collection. Shirt is definitely at least 7 years old, more likely 10 or so.

Seems as though you don't need Spoo to help with your Versace anymore... the jedis have usurped. :) Listen to Nat and Klobber.

Krizia has **** for resale value, good move leaving it.

I suspect someone may want you to proxy that suit.

I did notice a small nick (tiny holes forming a vertical line about 1 inch long on the back of the blazer on the far right side. But that shouldn't be a problem if I needed to take in the sides.

It was far too much work for me to make it work, and the lapels were too big for my taste.

Someone will surely PM you, that suit looks nice and at the price, a steal. If it was a 46L, I would be all over it.

You still the resident Versace expert, we are still your apprentices / padawan learners (I dont know why I feel nerdy saying that ). I joined the Versace gravy train in mid 90's and left it in the 00's, but now getting interested in their collections again. You, on the other hand, have years over us in this brand, and not forgetting you seem to make a reasonable killing over selling the vintage stuff.

:wow: I think I need to purchase two stuffed lions below my stairways before I get those!

Speaking of Versace, I still want one of the silk shirts to have fun with in the summer. Just can justify resell prices of vintage pieces on eBay. Hopefully the next Versace x H&M collection will have some classic silk shirts for men.

Also picked up this... I love these Scottish tartan ties (available)

That zegna PS is awesome. Let me know if you don't want it. It'll go with my BB robe. :hide:

Also, is the tartan tie unlined? Looks like it is.

Robert Talbott linen, Al Bazaar 93/7 cashmere/lambswool, Ferrell Reed

Despite RT's ubiquity, that looks nice enough to pick up! I've never seen a linen version. Pretty neat.

Silk Versace shirts and summer just go together don't they?

Im pretty sure this past one was the last hurrah, I can't see a third one happening. Prices from the first one have fallen from the stratosphere on eBay, so maybe you can get it for pretty close to what they cost now.

Would love to see pics of the suit (just curious).

How many tartan ties are we talking? Pics?

Here's the suit (I assume the Polo?)

For the ties, I found a couple a few weeks ago

The MacGregor I sold on eBay...

The Macleod I'm keeping, at least so far... And someone's already offered to buy it if I don't
