Yeah, I agree with the coupling of these two statements. I had some stuff that I found that was brag-worthy but I didn't feel like wasting my time posting if it was going to get lost amongst some wonderful internet bickering.

The quick answer? Absolutely nothing. We found out the horsesasses penis is actually a banana.

Are you sure that's a grenadine?

If any of that stuff is my size...get at me.

I would surely like to know...

Nope, not a grenadine. That said, grenadines are almost over anyway; the bubble is about to burst. Macclesfields are the new hotness.

And unlined, 7 fold to boot.

That's a nice tie, Torz. Not grenadine, but awfully nice.

Wow, we've had some great thrifts lately. Here's my haul from the weekend:

TM Lewin x 2 PRL x 2 (Left grenadine right Italy) - NA

Zanella 120s Wool

Italian PRL x 3 - NA

Not really brag worthy, but I found what's bound to be my favorite spring pants

Skeet Skeet

Gitman Bros Tuxedo Shirt with MOP Buttons

Suitsupply w/ French Cuffs? Actually, surprising quality for how much SF doesn't like Suitsupply and fits well.

Zegna - Ugly IMHO but if it doesn't sell, keeping MOP buttons

LOUD PRL Shirt. Has a green colored label? Someone know something I don't? Must be boys since it fits more like a M or S

SCORPIONS! Custom Fit M - NA

Performance Knit BB Polo

MINTY Brioni Polo. Still has plastic ring from tags

Canali T-shirt XL

Brion T XL

Minty fresh PRL Peacoat - NA

REI Vest S for the Fiancee

EDIT: I want to give a huge shoutout to the captain for the awesome Oxxford suit he sold me. Fits well already but needs a few finishing touches, so it is headed to the tailors. Thanks again Wes!

Wow! You're in for a killing on those jeans! I can't believe thrift prices out there and the fact that this stuff manages to be around to reach a discount! A RLPL polo marked to $40 gets sucked up in mere hours at my stores.

30% discount is nationwide for Savers, just spend $75 and you get a 30% off coupon for your next purchase.

With that said, the original prices are still way better than here!

Arnold Brant, made in Italy, 46 L. I almost picked this up and will probably go back for it, but I balked at the name (even though the quality is pretty great).
I balked at an Arnold Brant tan SC in 100% cashmere because it was priced at $20 and I didn't know the name because I'm a noob at this. I was mulling it over, waited for 25% off day and went back to get it, and it was gone. I forget where it was made but it seemed pretty decent, might like to have kopped it for myself but I haven't lost too much sleep over it.

Just a few ties for now, because I haven't gotten around to taking pics of some modest pant and shoe finds.

L -> R
Burlington Knot by J Press, the pattern is 4 red monkeys sitting on a white [log?]
J Crew
2x Hathaway. I have a soft spot for USA made Hathaway stuff.
BB Makers. Little rumpled at the edge, was gonna pass but it was buy 1 get 1 free day and I needed a freebie to kop along with this...

My first Hermes. (?)

Legit? Specifically, other examples of Hermes I've seen have:
1. Amish logo on the sewn-on tag instead of the H
2.
00a9.png
symbol in the printed logo on the tail
3. "100 SOIE" in the "Made in France" box on the tail

If this is fakety fake fake then I'm out $1.50, but it looked close enough to kop when I was in the GW. Is this simply of an older vintage? It has a couple of spots, possibly coffee, and a little dingy/oily haze on the front. I'd like one of y'all experts to authenticate so I can determine if it's worth sending to Tiecrafters and keeping.

Yep, Hermes is real but old. I believe the keeper dates it to 1970s or earlier.

Found a jacket with these tags. The pic I took of it turned out grey and the suit jacket is blue with blue pinstripes. Worth going back to try and find the pants and pick them both up? No other labels. I left the jacket because I wasn't sure if it was worth picking or not, especially as an orphan.

^ St Andrews for Loro Piana. Yep, definitely worth the effort to find the pants.
