Found this bad boy today. It doesn't have the original deployment strap, but it's still in working condition with only minor scratches on the bezel, and the glass is clean. If any of you watch aficionados will humor me, what might I expect to fetch for this if I were to sell?

IWC Mark XV

Found? Deets pls. And is that real?

Ok my notable finds from yesterday 1) now that were sort of on the topic, I thrifted a watch winder the other day... pics if anyone cares (its not orbita) and I thought that was dope, then this guy posts a ******* IWC.
Polo by Corneliani navy blazer, 42R single vent.

Similar, but waaay better:

Corneliani SUIT (pants not pictured). This thing is baller, can anyone establish how recent it might be based on tags/label? I just know its the more recent of the 2 corneliani labels I know of. Going to troika unless someone offers me a **** ton of money, or fights Troika for it.

Polo linen pants in 38 (anyone know anything about Polo with no country of orgin tag? I think i've seen it before, but this just seems nice and like a tag I normally associate with their better stuff.
PRL outerwear jacket cotton/nylon xl black watch (obviously).
Ventura by Tom James

This ************* was 40% off (of $8.99):

16.5 X ~36 (sleeves are too long unfortunately).

Is this the most recent label, or the 2nd most recent? I have one of each, and just know that silvery=recent.

Size 40, seersucker in offwhite/khaki.

Aquascutum Suit 38R jacket w/ single vent, 32x31 pants.

VTG? Executive imperials (these were cheap and in great condition and seem to flip alright) 11D
Finally, AE bradley 10.5D. In really good shape, just dusty and I haven't touched them yet. Everything above is avaliable unless I mentioned that its destined for Troika barring serious money, or you physically overpowering him.

I actually forgot the the best part of this story.

I always go staight to the shoe racks. I found the shells from a distance before I even reached the shoe section. They were the only thing worth looking at. The racks were nearly full except for 2 or 3 open spots, (including where the shells had been). As I headed toward the suits, I saw a new employee (they had signs up earlier in the week that they were looking to hire a shoe dept. person...I seriously considered that position.

), and she was bringing out a cart of shoes, mostly womens to restock the shelves. I made a quick shuffle throught the suits and SCs, made quicker since I only look for the new weeks color tag ( I am in that store 3 times a week). I headed back to the shoes, not expecting to find anything. But, there in the same exact spot the shells had sat a few minutes earlier, was the new pair of Hanovers. I was elated and went to thank my wife for bringing me. As I passed by the womens shoe section, I saw the new girl and told her what had happened. How I had found two great pairs of shoes in the same exact spot. She thought that was "neat" too. "Hold on" she said. She went back into the back and in a completely unanticipated move, brought out not 1 but 2 full carts of men's shoes. I quickly spotted the AEs and left the rest behind. I thin kI have a new best friend at the thrift. I hope she works on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Should have left your number....

On that note, I found my first good pair of shoes in a while. Really good condition (will be in great condition after some polish) Allen Edmonds New Orleans in Walnut.

Definite fake. Here's a link to a real one--disclaimer no connection to the seller, but I have purchased watches from him in the past:

Sooooo, my thrift ban has been removed. Therefore I decided to take a walk to my neighborhood spot, didn't find much, but I did come out with these. 80's Raichle made in Switzerland mountaineering boots.Size is 9M. If anybody needs any kick-ass boots for next winter, get at me. I've got a pair of very similar Danners, and they are ******* BOMB proof!

Sorry to double post. These look like they were used on the trail once. The leather is scuffed, but it's only superficial. I'll post post-cleaning pictures shortly.

Probably a replica judging by the hands. You can probably talk to the guys over at watchuseek and confirm.

You're right unfortunately, they're too fat/linear. I was chalking it up to a bad pic at first.

Yeah, good call on the Hands. Hour hand should have a straight edge, while the second should have an arrow-head. At least that's what I've gathered from a simple image search and comparison. The second hand is what is really throwing it off. I'll have to have it checked out. Thanks!

Unfortunately I'm in the midst of an insomnia bout that has overcome even the Ambien I take nightly, so for all I know I'm really just telling this to the jaded penguin who is pounding back tequila shots while trying to sell me something called "herring insurance."

Drove by this place today; naturally had to turn around and take a pic.
