I'm not thrifting much lately as I get ready to move but had to get out today. Pained me to leave this behind at the store...had three or four pulls.

Some pulls can be fixed. Paisley's not usually my gig, but I do like Bizzocchi. PM coming. And dibs, dudes.

Since I was called out earlier stating that I haven't had any "real" hauls, here's some things I've picked up along the way the last 40 pages or so....

Isaia Blazer
Isaia 7-Fold Tie
GA Tie
RLPL Navy Tie
Billy Reid Coat
Billy Reid Henley
Eton Shirt
Borrelli Shirt
Corneliani ID Shirt
LP Vest
BB Cashmere Sweater

Whoa. Sh*t. Just. Got. Real. (PM Coming on the Isaia)

Had a dream that I was looking through ties and found a bunch of Hermes. What's happening to me?

Happens to me all the time, good thing I went back to college for fashion design I guess. :D

These are amazing.

Sooooooo sick!!!!

+1 Z Zegna suits sell just fine if you're looking to flip them. I'd pick a Z Zegna up over a old label mainline anyday. The cut of the new Z Zegna I have seen has been very nice.

This suit below sold for $225 and I had the same model "city" cut orphen solid gray jacket sell for $75

****, I've been passing up Z Zegna stuff left and right. :brick:

I thought I'd mention that I did something that I never thought I'd do...start a blog. I have a number of topics I'd like to cover, including traditional Austrian clothing and street shots (both atrocious and tasteful). If there's something you'd like to see, let me know, I'll try to keep it updated regularly.

I received a number of PMs after I posted some photos from my last Viennese thrifting trip, so I'll probably include more photos on the next trip that I take (possibly next week).

Link is in my signature.

I did as well last year, however, it was before I really knew what was what, so I'll refrain from sharing the link. :embar:

On another note, the wife is out of town, I'm having some beers and listening to Coltrain while I take some photos of my Etro jacket I just picked up from the tailors.

1) Start picking up those Z Zegnas to flip

2) Mine isn't 100% on thrifting, men's clothing in general. I'd love to see the link to yours!

3) Different continent, same activity at the same time...

4) I've been waiting to see that Etro.

Thanks! That is a great blog with great information.
First post here but have been following this site for a while. No really great finds other than the standard Alden and AE shoes but ran across this Ferragamo cashmere blazer today that I haven't been able to find anything about online. Nothing too odd other than no vent in the back. Is this anything worthwhile?

Nice first catch - Pretty rare find. Welcome to the coven.

Pics of the LP shoes:

No pics of the lady trying on pants outside of the dressing room, sorry.
Nice kicks! Thanks for the non-pic, you can see a lot of that type of stuff at "peopleofwalmart.com"

Can anyone tell me anything about the Dino Baldini? I bought it because it was 1) Made in Italy 2) Fully Canvassed 3) Had Surgeon's cuffs. It also seems to have a lot of handwork, including handmade button holes. I've never heard of the brand before.

I believe that Dino Baldini is a mens store in New York (Madison Avenue maybe). Could be a house brand - check of manufacturer labels. Welcome - nice first post.
Found a pair of these a few days ago (dark brown and light subdued caramel). Is there a special name for the high slanted 80 degree pockets?

Pretty sure they are both store samples. Look & feel NWTO (you can just tell after seeing 1000's of jackets new and used), front pockets basted, basting thread on rear vents evident (not shut though), evidence of glued on tag that prob read "sample" which was removed but glue is evident. To list or not to list NWOT....that is the question

&

Hand warmer pockets. Do they measure about a size 40? Most samples are made in that size. If the basting thread is still there I wouls assume that they were unworn - NWOT.

I'll be honest with you, for as much time as I've spent on the internet (since 1996!), I don't get a lot of today's things and am intimidated by them...tumblr being one of them. First question is, can you write as much as you want on tumblr?

I just posted a lengthy entry yesterday that admittedly lacked real information (what blog doesn't), so is something like that allowed?

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately the only other tag anywhere on the jacket was the Loro Piana Super 120's label, not even a size mark. Could it be mtm?
