Couple questions

I'm still really new to this site and trying to look like I have some sort of basic fashion sense. (Before I just didn't care). Anywho, while reading these forums it's been said over and over again that you shouldn't wash your APC/Nudie jeans for the first 6 months and wear the ehck out of them.

Now my question is, do the jeans start to smell really bad and look dirty with out washings?

As I said I'm still fairly new, but is there one pair of jeans you would suggest to a newbie? I bought two pairs of Taverniti jeans last year and just love them.

do some research - you'll find a buncha info to answer all your questions.

Anyway, quickly: depending on what you do in them jeans, yeah - they may get stinky and look pretty dirty too, in six months of active wear. There are ways to handle the scent, and I guess you can try to keep them as clean as possible... do some research.

Seems most here recommend APC New Standard or Rescues. I don't have either and don't feel I can recommend as I am not an expert

Price range? And as some may tell you, the whole not washing your jeans for 6 months thing is merely just a gimmick, don't think too much of it.

I've had my APC NS for about a year without any washing and I wear them about 3 days a week on average. They don't smell except when sniffed very very close-up, and even then, its not a nasty smell.

I would suggest APC NS and size down 1-2.

Yes, I was thinking of getting a pair of APC or Nudies. Don't really have a price range at this point, I would like to buy a quality product but don't want the "mall jeans" so if I have to pay a little more that's fine I guess.

I like the APC NS very much but I've leaned recently toward a lower rise jean. If you don't mind a mid rise they are the jean.
