They're my only pair of Carmina :[ I will see what can be done

Hi All,
going to a wedding in July, and Ive a nice smart Navy Blue Paul Smith suit with an accompanying Lacoste White Cotton Shirt. Shoes are my favourite wing-tip duo-tones.. but I have no tie. Have a head of light ginger hair im looking for links to decent ties to match up the attire. Ive attache a really low quality photo if its of any help, but in an ideal work someone would just find me a tie on-line that would work... maybe even a pocket hankichief to also go with it.
any advice is welcomed.
Thanks

Everything but the burgundy tie- so reminiscent of the maroon leisure suit- double polyester with white belt and shoes.

Could I get an opinion about this set? Please, understand my choice. I am very inexperienced in this subject. biggrin.gif

No, he meant that the burgundy shoes looked brown on his screen at a glance, and he preferred them to the suggested black shoes. Brown or burgundy, either would be better than black with the outfit shown; I agree that burgundy is preferable to brown.

Picked this up at thrift yesterday.  Does anyone know if this is real Polo?  I saw black, thinking it was the fabled Polo Black Label and bought it.  I believe now that it's not.  Now my question is "is it vintage, or fake?"  The construction of the shirt seems good.  No place of manufacture is marked on the shirt anywhere.

I don't know if it's real (I'm doubtful), but it's definitely not RLBL.

Part II of "Is This Real":

I apologize for my noobness.  I'm just a squirrel trying to find a nut.  This tie definitely doesn't feel like silk, but I've heard of more coarse silks.  It feels more like cheap linen.  I'm also worried about the space between the N and D in London.  I was going quick, and it was $1, so I bought it anyway. Thoughts?  I'm thinking it is fake, but I'm hoping someone will tell me I'm wrong.

Hello all,

I am looking for a pair of slim mid rise jeans and I stumbled upon the 0036MWZ from Wrangler. I read that people here generally think that Wrangler fits well and that'd be a plus but how about the color? the 0036MWZ is darker and I hope it doesn't make me look like I am wearing mom jeans. Do you think they look fine? Thank you for your time.

*Both pics are supposed to be the same pair of jeans (they offer only one color) but with different lighting.

You might be better off asking your denim question over on the Streetwear and Denim forum, as opposed to here, the Classic Menswear forum.

That's not a novelty tie.  This is a novelty tie:

God save your queen.
