? bj and diego fought last year (or was that two years ago now? damn) diego is fighting matt hughes. bj and fitch were supposed to rematch at 132 but fitch was injured and bj has altogether pulled out.

Pretty good. Closer than it appears.

You heading to 131? If I can get some vacation, I might go west. Been following Lesnar since his WWE days. Want to see him bounce back.

I'm actually going to be away for a wedding, which sucks. the BL JDS fight would be great to see, especially given the similarities between CV's and JDS's styles! flights between t.o and van are only 400ish around then which is reasonable..

Yeah, I knew there was something wrong with that. For whatever reason I conflated BJ and Matt.

I like the Diego Matt fight, should be a solid test as to where their respective careers are at.

post-fight Segal interview, too hilarious "...second time a friend of yours knocks out an opponent with a front kick to the face. Unbelievable!" "Yes...thank you." "lyoto is like a son to me" "I've been training the martial arts since I was a baby"

I have much respects to Machida. Very emotional as he was saluting Randy. Hope he gets back into the contender spot.

I missed the PPV for a cousin's wedding. Thoughts? I read that it was really great until Gotta Score Points' fight.

GSP defended his title. I think he got punched in the eye which effected his vision, but who cares. What I liked seeing is Nate Diaz getting slammed not once, not twice, but three times in a 45 second span. Third time was right on his head too.

LOL!

Nick Diaz supposedly wants to fight GSP now. Can't get worse than Jake Shields. Still respect GSP. Not like he wasn't trying to knock him out.

Glad Matyushenko won, the dude still has tremendous power at his age. GSP for being seen as a much better stand up fighter, really didn't prove that he was THAT much better. Again these are just my thoughts, but in no way was he dominant. He defended the title but that was it. However Shields can take a hit so even if GSP went all out, I don't think he would've KO'd him unless ref stoppage. GSP has awesome take down defense and really, that's what won him the fight. I want to JDS + BL . JDS if he keeps it standing will be a beast. He should be fighting Cain anyways since they are similar styles but whatever. I also want to see Big Country. Just saw an old video from when he fought Arlovski in EliteXC, he's developed a lot since then and Arlovski has declined much since then.

did not expect to find an MMA thread here, im pleasantly surprised i thought the aldo fight was amazing. real fighting spirit by mark. hope hes ok for his baby photos :P

Hard to criticize GSP for not finishing the fight when he couldn't see out of one eye. I was debating the ethics of telling a fighter to suck it up when he's telling you he can't see - detached retina, etc..

Yeah theres videos swarming around youtube showing jake "accidentally" finger jabbing him in the ye more than once so cant blame gsp for paying it safe with reduced visione
