Evan Williams single barrel is a superb bourbon and a bargain, superior to others Ive paid several times as much for. Makes a great old fashioned, although I generally go for rye these days otherwise. High West makes a great rye. If its hot out, a cube of ice from distilled water is best. Otherwise, always neat or with a dash of water.

They are not inexpensive, but they are revelations..

Cheesy Mexican song alert..

Is worm just a cheesy gimmick or a sign of lower quality mezcal?

PS. Awesome 1995 website

If you can find the 17 year old, I highly recommend it as a special occasion bourbon.

Good stuff, thanks. I next need to do a tasting and compare the ER with WLW, Stagg, Pappy 20, Hirsch 16 and whatever else I have in the bar and have forgotten. Just saw this puppy at my local the other day (they went all out for Christmas/NYE), too bad my spirts budget is soooooo shot.
