I can't say I'm bored at all with solid socks. In fact I'm wearing solid navy socks today with suede chukkas and denim. It looks right. I don't want to detract from my shoes or my new jeans so a solid navy is perfect. But it is also a matter of having the right shade of navy- not too dark, not to bright to go with raw denim.

What does the sock color symbolize here? Different, contrast or something else? Not trying to be sarcastic here but honestly I think I don't see something that you do hence...

I am currently searching for a light pair of navy socks. Having a hard time.

The pic is bad but yes you are right, I've been noticing they have developed an olive tone instead of the dark brown of the audleys. I'm ok with it because it's quite a different color from any other shoes I own.

I bought my bontonis because of that reason. The green is super unique and it really complements a lot of different colors
