Sorry, just simple black socks. Nothing from the Dr. Seuss line.
The shoes are actually Cole Haan - real croc, made in Italy. I was suprised by the quality.

Don't know how justinkapur takes shoe photos sitting in a car. Not an easy shot to take.

The brand is Berle. I have had them for a few years, and I don't remember where I picked them up.

As for your hate of the shape - well - join the club - not to everyone's taste for certain. It's the TG73 last - I have three pairs on this last and I do indeed like them. But I think I'll be going to the 'soft square' last on my next G&Gs. The TG73 is too special to have a whole wardrobe of.

Glenjay - Cole Haan once made great shoes......used to be my favorite brand.......love the croc. No Dr. Suess socks required. smile.gif

Stitchy - I highly recommend the vintage rioja color - my favorite so far of the G&Gs.

Gyaish - Those boots are so hot. Can they lace up tighter? How are they working out with the trouser cuffs so far?

Sstomcat - Vass is hard not to like. But I'm mad at you for hating my square toes so I'll be mean to you until tomorrow. butbut.gif Your shoes look big enough to stamp out an SUV dude! Get some sleek G&G would ya? fistbump.gif

They can be tightened, I prefer looser. Most of the time, the top of my boots won't show. There have been no issues with my pants.

Cool - I struggle with cuffs over boots sometimes. So the pics made me wonder. Glad they are working out. They are really great boots.

These CH crocs like nice. How old are they? They look like a pair I had in the late 70s or early 80s?
