So what did everyone think of the suiting in TDK? I wasn't overly impressed with Bales look - low gorge, no dimples in the ties and the tight collar spread. I thought Ackheart's look was decent in some scenes but there was a lot of button-downs being worn with ties. LOL.

Oh BTW the movie certainly lived up to all the hype.

I also noticed the huge gap between his jacket and his neck when he was giving his speech at Dent's fundraiser.

From being on this forum so much that's one of the first things I took notice to in the film. I wasn't impressed by his suiting either, it seemed as though he was wearing a size or two larger than what he should have worn. Eckhart's wardrobe was fairly good but I didn't know that the Joker had a thing for bespoke! And I thought he was supposed to be a "simple man with simple tastes".

P.S- I thought the mayors wardrobe looked pretty spiffy.

It seemed like every second person was wearing a three-piece, too...

I was jealous.

All of the clothing Christian Bale wore was by Giorgio Armani, given that I feel the fit was fine.

i think that during the speech he actually had his jacket falling off his shoulder, i was surprised they didnt fix his jacket and redo it.
Overall i thought that he looked pretty damn good.

None the less, awesome movie, and the joker was the best part, as well as his costume.

the 3-peice suits also had me wishing i had a few.

The suits did fit horribly and looked a bit cheap overall. It is an amazing movie though, Nolan outdid himself.

Ties with no dimples. Just poor form.

Agreed, even remotely implying that 3 buttons suits are out of style is like saying sex is out of style.
