@hoodog seems to have gone more towards relaxed jeans recently like the Our Legacy 3rd cut jeans he posted. Fitwise that should work with the jacket though I do agree with Troika that jacket would look better if it was shorter/cropped

...this vintage Carhartt piece?

View attachment 2135415

Am I even a Carhartt guy? 🤔
Meaning do you work in blue collar jobs like construction? I would guess not. But it’s all meaningless at this point as it’s past the trust fund Williamsburg psuedo hipster wearing Carhartt meme territory. I actually like the fit, so get it if you like it.

Eton shirts are a great middle ground between the cheaper, throw-away shirts and the really expensive $400+ shirts available in my opinion they pair nicely with my collection of silk durags. Good condition ones go for $40-$70 on Ebay so if it fits you, $15 is a very good deal. That collar is quite spread which tends to suit certain face shapes better than others and the pattern is not the most formal, but it's small enough to be appropriate in most offices. Really depends on the dress enviroment at your particular office.

If you think it's leaning too casual, a slightly fun patterned dress shirt under a solid color sweater can look really nice and proffessional.

Make sure the sleeves and shoulders fit you and the waist isn't too *tight*, you can always add darts or redo the sides at a tailor if it's too loose.

I couldn't agree more, i love eton shirts but definitely try them on in person before ordering online to get your size bc some of mine do fit a bit tight.

Picked up this Italian suede jacket from Yoox for $250. Thought it was suede until I saw the tag that says vera pelle / "camoscio" (chamois in Italian). I'm not too sure about chamois leather as I know it's mostly for car cleaning than for clothing. Keep or skip? Is chamois "bottom tier" leather and a deal breaker? Thanks.

“Camoscio” / “scamosciato” is sometimes used interchangeably with “suede” in Italian. I wouldn’t worry about it if you like the jacket.
