When I stare at pictures of split toes I am disgusted, but somehow when I'm wearing them I don't have the same reaction. I almost never see someone wearing them, which might say something too.

Should cop some black jeans (overdye or otherwise)? Pretty stupid question I guess, but I haven't owned a pair in years since I can never figure how I'm going to wear them. Maybe attributed to a lack of nice black boots/wearing jeans less because of work?

i havent worn my blk overdye jeans in ages but i still keep them because i never know when i might have put on a pair of jeans ahah

if you're a 46 it will likely work for you but it's yohji so meant to be oversized

does anybody know what does Embossed Moc mean? I am thinking of either going with this or the classic moc, but I am not sure if I am a fan of the white sole of the classic moc. Anybody got any other suggestions before I pull the trigger?

How do people think those moc toes look good? They are the bulkiest, ugliest boots in existence.

I agree. The flourescent white stitching makes it even worse. Even when I removed asbestos for a living I wouldn't wear those. People buy the **** out of them though!

Back to topic - embossed usually means there is some sort of design on the surface of the leather.

Any recommendation then? Just looking for a good looking casual boot for fall/winter. and please don't say Alden or Trickster, I live in a place where I can't do returns. this would be my first boot, so I want a nice entry boot. Thanks in advance!

I have a similar boot from the J-Crew catalog. I wouldn't say they are ugly..just different. I like them (obviously why I bought them) I just like variety in my boots and an outdoorsy boot to shovel the snow in when the winter rolls around. Not every boot has to be an Alden Wingtip lol.
