Apart from fit etc. i'm especially impressed with SH's pattern matching:
Arm to coat - coat to waistcoat - waistcoat to waistcoat lapels - waistcoat to trousers - coat to trousers

Yes, well-- that just makes you an easier target for marksmen in the snow. Be careful!

I had the good fortune to be able to join Butler for his fitting with Steven Hitchcock. I really liked the relationship they have, lots of back and forth between them that obviously provides great results!
There are a few more photos over on my Tumblr .

Just in case anyone's interested, Edwin and Matthew DeBoise of Steed will be in Chicago, Washington D.C., New York and Boston this month. Feel free to read all about it here: http://www.steed.co.uk/bespoke-tailors.htm

Nice. Is that the blue spot effect? I'm considering if I do another Minnis run making it a medium - dark gray version of that style.

Is this new? Didn't you already have one of these?

No, it's the suit that you remember. I hadn't posted a photo of it with its vest, and since I was wearing it today, I thought that that I would show it.

Did you see my note about the Lumb's in the other thread?

Yeah. The Lumbs is from Lesser/Harrisons? Is it durable? Is it fancy priced? I'll have a look at it at the tailors.

Also, I've seen a bunch of lapeled vests from Steed recently. Is this your preference or his?

No, it's one of the ones that T&L sell themselves.

I'll send you a PM.

Mine. I've gotten step lapel SB and roll lapel DB vests, Edwin does a great job with both styles.

No, it's a dogtooth that I don't think Minnis seems to carry anymore.
