The best reason for shoe trees?

I am a frequent reader and obviously not a volume poster.

Anyway, when I put some casual loafers on this morning, my toe was greeted by a bat.

The bat, now deceased, and I have already been to the doc and the bat is getting an overnight trip a state lab.

I had this happen once, but rather than a bat it was a wasp. Not fun. All my shoes have shoe trees now.
