Does there exist the equivalent of a Flusser Dressing the Man targeted towards women? I've checked out some web sites including Fashion spot, but compared to SF they aren't much help , possibly reflecting the lack of organization (or thought) that some of their contributers bring to the topic ... I'm basically looking for some resources for the GF .... any help much appreciated ....

As far as I know there is none. Your best bet is probably the catalogues of some of the conservative stalwarts such as Brooks Brothers, Ben Silver, Paul Stuart. Everything else for the female sex is pretty much geared toward the fashionable, which can be found on any of the monthly magazines.

For some reason, I would imagine that the result would be close to Anna Piaggi, but with less color.

I don't know about stilettos, but they have done shoes for women in the past.

sounds distinctly unsexy. Maybe Hilary Clinton can be their spokesmodel.

Here's a hysterical guide to women's fashion from the '80's (this was intended to be 100% dead serious, it was some soap star from back then who shot this.) I'm 100% convinced the beginning of this video is where the Simpsons got the character "Troy McClure"'s introductions from!

There are so many quotables from this video, its ridiculous:

"I feel style, is as important in your life, as your look."

"Fasion is something that is acquired by looking at a lot of different fashions"

"In shopping you'll find your eye will be drawn to the things you like."

"Lace has been around for thousands of years"

They actually looked pretty nice from the pictures that I've seen, and were similar in style to the shoes made for women by Edward Green.
