Rather stupidly I tried to polish a patina into my Kangatans after seeing some nice work on the internet. Long story short I've used Saphir shoecream and while I was pleased with the leather I've stained the stitching and now I want them back to normal. I've tried using Saphir Renomat and the leather is back to normal but the stitch is very very green. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Granted they don't look too bad here but it's noticeable in the flesh

Just a small update I got in about the boots with tooth brush and saddle soap. The boots are as clean as they've ever been and the threads are snow white. But I've now noticed that as the boots are now fully stopped of all polish that the toe of my left boot has yellowed really badly like bleached almost after they have fully dried out I hope the boot oil disguises it, long story short don't try to force a patina. And don't do it with semi rare redwings. Thanks for the replys.

Thanks. The saddle soap has somewhat dried the boots out but I have used redwings all natural boot oil and I'm going to use mink oil on it in a few days to total nourish the leather. Suede shampoo sounds like a great idea if this ever happens again.
