Spectacular Hartwood sport coat. Hartwood is a super high end menswear store in Paris and their house brand suits are made by Raffaele Caruso to their specification. I would characterize the cut of this as Neapolitan. It has a beautiful Milanese buttonhole and very very high quality hand stitched functional sleeve buttonholes. It was so nice, and fit so beautifully, that I neglected to consider it was a short. Despite having a lot of fabric to let out the sleeves, I would have needed to take them out 2-2.5" which would have been too much given the buttonhole placement.
Fabric is a Zegna 90% wool 10% cashmere blend. It is a winter weight. The texture is gorgeous. I would call it a staple color, but with a more luxurious looking texture.
In my opinion, it is nicer than the average Caruso jacket.
It's labeled a 50R (eu), but its certainly more like a 50S (eu)
Shoulder (seam to seam): 18.25"
Chest (pit to pit): 21.125"
Waist: 19.25"
Length (BOC): 29"
Sleeves: 23" from the seam but sits a bit higher in my opinion, feels more like 22.5"
Price only $325 +shipping
