Baron-

I only saw the brown suede and I already have a pair of suede shoes in that particular colour that I never wear so I couldn't pull the trigger on it but if you don't have something similar, I highly recommend it. The fit and comfort was fantastic for my feet at least.

I would have bought the black calfskin but I had bought a pair of black EG monkstraps the same day so I couldn't do it. If they had it in a brown or burgundy calfskin, I'd be on it like white on rice. It's a shame they don't make it in other colourways.

I feel the same way - if it was available in brown or tan or burgundy calf, I'd own it already. I like the suede too, but something about the design makes me want that shoe in a mid brown calf. Maybe I'll have to save up my pennies and half Gomez make something like that someday.

What monks did you get from EG? I ordered a pair of black Wellands from the sale.

Well, there's two of us, I guess we're just 18 short of commissioning an order. Black Wellands for me too, pictured here with the brown suit - http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...ostcount=12932 I was surprised by how many they had left in store. It seemed like pretty much every size had it available. I guess it wasn't a very popular shoe.

The Weymouth, of course.
Savile (Monkstrap in 338)
Hallam (Captoe in 348)

Beautiful shoe.

I ended up with a Drummond in mink suede on the 348 and a pair of burgundy socks. I would have bought more if the EG and JL sales were not in effect in London.

Good work my man.

I've got a Brecon on the way to me from Plal.com right now. Bought it three days ago.

Why don't you just get the two pairs for now while you ponder on your third?

And I thought you didn't like the medallion on the Weymouth?
