New SF member and not sure where to find the answer you're looking for?  Have a quick question that doesn't belong in a current thread?  Welcome, you found the right place.

This is a weekly thread where new users can ask quick questions and get a solid answer.  If a thread already exists that would be more helpful, we will point you in the right direction.  The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked.....so ask away!

Hi everyone,

I am a rank novice when it comes to coordinating my outfits. My wardrobe is super basic - navy and dark charcoal suit, solid white, solid light blue, and solid lavender dress shirts. I understand the basic colour theory (i.e., complimentary colours, triad colours, and analogous colours). But I get real anxiety when it comes to matching :(. Like, would a dark charcoal suit, light blue shirt, and a yellow with blue stripe tie go together?

Gahhh,

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum @Suits91.  Check out this guide http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/clothing/style-tips/practical-color-help/...it's really good one.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that link is dead.

Edit: the "...it's" was in the link by accident. Thanks, I'll give it a read. I think it's more that I lack confidence when matching and scared to look like a disorganized goof.
