Okay, you guys are just piling on now! LOL.

Great looking tuna, though.

So .... since I'm not a member of the Sub Club (yet!) ... I will counter with a pic of this humble, but reliable Citizen Nighthawk. One of my favorite "affordables". It's powered by sunshine, and comes with a slide rule calculator that I have used more often than I can count :D

^ Levitating?

It's sitting inside the watch bracelet, which is why it's lifted up at the bottom end.

Was a present years ago. A Mont Blanc pen, so I assume a pen store in Sydney somewhere.

Smashing watch! I also like the German companies Muhle Glashutte and Archimede. Styling, affordable and not as insanely pricey as their Swiss counterparts.

Looking for a stylish blue-faced watch. Not willing to commit resources to a JLC or another Rolex. Thinking of Archimede Klassik 42 or Muhle Glashutte Teutonia II.Would like the Archimede more if it didn't have the seconds markings.

What's the budget? I don't know about either of those two, but a quick search yielded quite the price range there. For what I saw for the Muhle I would just go Nomos then. Timeless Luxury Nomos Orion Midnight Edition is one, Ahoi Atlantik (from a trusted German grey dealer) with a strap change is another. I think you might find an older datejust or something like that in blue as well, though don't quote me on that. Otherwise a Junghans Meister with the Sunny Blue dial.

The Ahoi Atlantik, while super cool, is a very dark blue that looks black most of the time. The Timeless Luxury Orion is super cool in person.

Was thinking of the Nomos but still holding out for Lamda in stainless.

I only handled one for a bit in person, but I never felt it looked black at all.

That Orion does look nice, though I think a 35mm option would have been nice.

The Tiefblau? If so why not just keep working towards that?
