A few notes:

The recent family shots have been totally amazing.  For me, the beauty is in the variations of color, whether due to age, batch, whatever.  Really incredible stuff!  Thank you gentlemen.

Recently moved to the South Shore of Boston.  Not that it makes a lick of difference, but it's kind of nice to know the factory less than an hour away.

My wife: You don't actually post pictures of your own shoes on there, do you?
Me (channeling Fletch): Me?  No, no--never, never.
My wife knows I read SF. She does not know that I have an account with the name of an East European city I have visited several times, nor does she know that I post under the avatar of a tender vittles free-basing fictional cat.

I may have posted these whiskey gunboats before...but not with these new chups socks! Would recommend for those who like cushioning and suffer from cold toes.

So I've decided that I want the Alden Unlined Loafers in Suede Snuff in a 10D. Don't think I'm doing the ones tricky was selling in 10.5D because I don't want to run into a situation where I did with my Rancourts in which they stretched a lot.

So if anyone knows a sale or wants me to help them let them go let me know :)

Sorry to ask this guys, but I searched the thread and could only find the phone number for Kathy in DC. Would someone mind sharing the email? PM is fine as well. Thanks so much in advance!

Just spent a futile 40 minutes with Kathy last night trying to find one pair in the entire store that fit me...so, I have her card right here in my coat pocket and the email listed is simply [email protected]

Hope you have better luck than I did :-(

Their factory is only a few trees away from 495, and I've driven past it numerous times. Never bothered to actually get off the highway and check it out, but I've seen pictures and it doesn't exactly seem like a visitor-friendly spot. I wish they had a "factory shop" and sold irregulars there, in person only.
That would be very cool. You might become this thread's designated proxy!

On second thought I just tried the Barries I have and they fit a bit roomy. If they were laceless they would hit my heel and stay there but there's room.

Guess I MAY go to a 10D then in Van Last.

For the BB unlined #8 LHS, I get an almost perfect fit from a 10.5D.

My Barrie size is 10E and I fill that out completely.

So, I go down a width.

You would be wise to try both 10D and 10.5D and even a 10.5C if possible.

Speaking of which:

That price is hot, hot, hot and from the best shop around.
