As someone with wide feet, Hampton in 10E is my best fitting "normal" last (not counting modified). My color 8 and black balmorals are total workhorses for me.

Rank of best lasts for wide feet (IMO)

Modified
Hampton
Grant
Trubalance
Plaza
Barrie
Aberdeen
Van
Leydon

Unfortunately for me, one of the worst looking Alden shoes I have ever purchased was a color 8 captoe boot, plaza lasted, 10E - for some reason, that particular model looked like a square toe Aldo boot in the E width. I had to return it

Agreed. I appreciate rare shell but a cigar indy is definitely my favorite. That leffot one with the flat welt and blind eyelets is certainly special.

Steve, how long ago did you buy these?
Both loafers are inspirational.

Thanks DV!  Purchased from Citi about a month ago.

CXL is stuffed with oils by Horween, and needs very little conditioning. I find that infrequent, light applications of ter uncolored Saphir greasy leather product produces little to no change in the color of the leather once it dries.

Also, lots of brushing and buffing will bring the oils to the surface and push them around to fill in scuffs and scrapes.

Agreed. CXL is super resilient and needs very little care. Bick 4 is a good choice to use sparingly and occasionally.

I was looking at this photo for 3 minutes trying to figure out what you were trying to call out on the pants leg with your Photoshopped-in white circle... and then I finally realized it was the cord from some iPhone earbuds. facepalm.gif
