I told the guys at citishoes Id post for them because they have been great to deal with.

They have a few color 8 tankers with antique edge/commando on plaza left if anybody is interested. I grabbed the last size 9 last night- new favorite

Stopped by today and can confirm the Tankers on plaza are awesome. Sadly
All out in my size but I got on the list for the next order. They only got a few pairs on this run but will be placing a larger order next round.

Hahaha, seriously though... the single best boot Alden has ever made. Nice score and I love that you actually wear them occasionally. I wouldn't have the cojones!

As promised, here are the CitiShoes Snuff Suede Indys on Barrie, model D5902C

All eyelets
360 storm welt
raised moc toe stitching (hand stitched?)
antique edge
Commando sole
unlined tongue

I quite like this special make up except the eylelets, they were hard to get on at first.

I also have the AOM version on trubalance, the Citi version is definitely more snug, but could be from being new, now I am going to decide which one to keep

Ok guys, pick up the phone, Citi is/was running a 30% special on them

Thanks for posting! Gotta say I prefer the trubalance version. The barrie version leaves me longing for a split toe but I'm biased. Can't go wrong either way.

It is a sweet makeup. I sent mine back, though--one medallion was off-center, and I really need a C width in these. Will get on the next pre-order. Enjoy them!

Haha, I can't even knock you for it. If I had color 4 cap toe boots, they'd sit in a closet, come out for a photoshoot and go right back in.

SO I read dubs NYC Alden tutorial.


As I understand it, AOM is the best bet for someone who is likely going to need a B or C width?

Does Citi carry any narrower widths? I know EP & Leffot typically don't. Both on the off chance of abandoned pre-orders? Thanks.
