The code doesn't work although a minimum purchase amount may be required according to a post in another thread ($175?). J-Crew shipping is way overpriced at 10-20%.Originally Posted by Synrax
Yes, there's a minimum amount required pre-discount. The problem with their shipping costs is their crazy tier structure which is based on order price - you could order a light $200+ sweater and then get charged an extra $40-50 for shipping, where if you just ordered a few pairs of socks you'll only be looking at $15.
Also, I'm going to go out on a limb to guess that J.Crew will announce an even better sale next week after this one ends. It seems they usually do this every retail quarter, and it would make sense for in the middle of December.

Does anyone know how the J. Crew Redwings run in terms of size? I know that some J. Crew shoes in the past have been a good deal larger than their marked size.Originally Posted by DMcG
I found they run a bit big on me. I am normally a 13 but I wear a 12 in those Redwings. I probably could have worn the 13's if I put insoles and wore thick socks.

on the bigger side of true, IMO. I ordered my usual, 9, and they shipped a 9.5 by mistake. That was WAY too big. I exchanegd for a 9 and its perfect. Room for socks in teh cold but ok with normal thinner socks so long as you don't want a super snug fit. Love em.

I was going to get a pair for myself using the employee discount but they put them on the exclusion list so even employees pay full price now
Oh well, the DSW by me has a pair that looks like the RWI-inspired for $140
