Yes, you read that right. These two shirts have been sitting in my (main) walk-in closet, undisturbed on one of the top shelves, for over 18 years! (I know because I bought them while we were waiting to move into this house, which we've lived in for about 18 yrs).

As you may have seen me mention before, I've amassed a heck of a lot of clothes over the years (EX. I have well over 400 shirts, about half of them on rolling racks in a bedroom that's been converted into a "closet"). I finally decided a couple of weeks ago, that I was going to start to sell off some of my stuff on e-bay...and here in the SF classifieds. So, I've been looking around my house, and in the process I've come across some things that haven't seen the light of day for many years.

I have a vague recollection of buying these shirts. I know I purchased three of them, each somewhat different in pattern and color. I wore one and put the other two up on a shelf for future use...and promptly forgot all about them (I found the third one hanging on one of my rolling racks...color is sort of in between these two. Still looks great).

Made in Hong Kong (back when that meant something), the fabrics they used for these shirts are wonderful. The soft, cotton has a terrific "hand"...with vivid, lustrous color.

Size - Large
Chest (armpit-to-armpit) - 24"
Shoulder-to-shoulder - 20"
Length (top to bottom) - 30" (front), 32" (rear)
Sleeve length- 9 1/2"

As you can see they still have their original Polo price tags (they were from the old Polo store in Georgetown-Washington, DC). They were priced at $115.00 each...and that was over 18 years ago! You can just imagine what they might cost today.

Obviously these aren't something you're gonna see everyday. I'm asking $55 each. Shipping in the ConUS is $8.50 Contact me for estimates to ship elsewhere.

Please let me know if you're interested.

Dennis

Back when it was on M street in the corner of the Georgetown Park Mall next to where Dean & Deluca is now?
