Just thrifted this exact jacket in the same size and color. Mine has the tag on interior side seam that shows Fall 1995.

Left 5 Seize Sur Vingt shirts because I didn't feel like listing them. Possibly a mistake. All are available except the Drake's tie and Johnston's sweater.

Alden bluchers

Black Fleece and Billy Reid

NWT Johnston's cashmere for me

Borrelli, Massimo Bizzocchi and Drakes for Paul Stuart (e-thrifted)

The shirts, sweater and Sieze Sur Vingts were all at the same store. I checked pants thinking there would be good stuff. Only the Luciano Barbera and tons of Bonobos. Then I turned to a rack I never check - jeans. I'm glad I did. APC New Cure (POP!).

Couple of highlights from the last couple of weeks.
HSM GOLD Trumpeter Loro Piana Cashmere

Been had Lo leather.

Crazy ETRO sport coat with swish silk lining. If this fit me I would wear it inside out.

So, I have a situation. I stopped by a shop on a whim, and they had 40 Bespoke New and Lingwood, and Sean O'Flynn shirts. All New. They are a bit big on me, but with some minor adjustments I think they would fit very well. All the shirts are in completely staple fabrics. The downside is they want 12$ each for them. I tried to bulk buy all of them, but they wouldnt deal.

Should I kop them all and overhaul my entire shirting wardrobe, or just kop a few?

Doesnt really seem like Either name fetches much on ebay, however they are really damn nice shirts.

Greetings from Keller TX where we care under a tornado warning. Sirens going off like crazy. I may be hiding in our bathroom in a few minutes but for now. Two things to show you.
First is my fun find of the day.

I grew up with real lionel trains (actually they are in a box in my garage,) so I could not let this set go. Only 9 months and 2 days until Christmas.
This next find I am looking for some thread expertise.

Beautiful buttery leather RL. Everything I have been looking for in a leather jacket including no polo emblem.
But...

Disaster on the left shoulder. Otherwise condition is very good.
So, can I repair this? I am not looking for better than new, just something to seal the hole and possibly minimize the scar so as not to stand out. I know when I was younger they used to have commercials for miracle leather fixes on cars and couches.
Any help is appreciated.

With adjustments, $12/shirt turns into $35 a shirt, and unless you are in a position to wear a different classic shirt and tie a day for a month at work, you'd have to ask yourself if a $900 investment is worth it.

That said, its hard for me to separate groups into separates. I anthropomorphize them and say that one thing will miss another - but in the end, its the money I miss from my wallet.

TLDR, kop a few staples, try a few to flip, and let someone else have some nice shirts and you may find a rack of Kiton to sell the next day.

Be safe, please!

They can patch the rip from underneath so its not flapping around, and you will still see it but it won't be so bad.

That's kind of along the lines of what I was thinking.

I did find these with them though...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
All 10 are Borrelli, and 9 are NWOT, 4 are 7 folds.

Anyone else besides me think they looked like Brooks Brothers ties?

I had a strong suspicion they were Borrelli before seeing they were even spoilered. Something about the texture. But I guess I could see Brooks brothers based on the colors.

Not Borrelli or Domenico Vacca but some ties...
