Possibly a stupid question, how can I tell if it's a Breitling movement? Will it be labeled as such or do I just have to put a date to the watch to figure it out?
The movement should be Breitling branded, but you'd have to pop the caseback open.

Thanks for the info, and if it is you'll be the first to know. I already left the store without it, but if it's still there in a couple of days when o go back I'll be sure to grab it. It was in pretty rough shape with some noticeable years and holes in the inside.

Cool, the camel hair blend liner is pretty sweet, I like the old ones but can never find one in my size

Looks a lot like the mac coat I have from them - different color, same pockets and buttons etc...tho mine's made in CA and has a liner, and yours made in Japan (nice!). Link to mine for comparison. Otherwise yeah I'd go with both technical and field, maybe utility. I have another similar jacket from them with epaulets and it's called a tactical.

To be fair, that shirt came before the tragedy.

obviously.

but there's a difference between Nike "unofficially" sponsoring the Hale-Bopp mass suicide in san diego (ever see that SNL commercial?), or Starburst having to pull the "Juice is Loose" campaign after Al Cowling chauffeured OJ Simpson around the freeways of LA,

and

creating an image like that. it's understandable sports rhetoric but it's not all that clever and kind of tone deaf in any case.

Nice! Love Wilderness Experience. McHale looks interesting. Frameless packs?
