Don't know how far west you venture, but there's a huge SA in the western suburbs that has JAB suits consistently priced at $50 and $60. I usually leave that place empty handed because of the pricing.

All-American thrift fit for St. Patrick's Day Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. I own 3 green clothing items: this tie, a Scottish tartan, and a fleece pullover. I need more green ties.

I finally got to wear the suede AE longwings I bought a few months ago. Every time I've wanted to wear them, the weather's been bad.

Break on the trousers isn't as sloppy as it looks. They fit well, but not perfectly, since they only have button side adjusters. I'll add brace buttons now that I've decided to keep them.

Unknown camel SC. Well made. Hand button holes.
PRL shirt.
PRL Made in Italy tie.
KW linen square
Marshall Fields flannel trousers.
AE McGregor suede longwings.

All thrift but the AEs, which were clearance from Burlington ($80), and square (eBay). Considering I found $100 bill in the pocket of the SC, total cost of this fit is probably under $10.

Nice look. A shirt with longer collar points or at least some collar stays would top it off.

Arrived an hour and a half before opening today at a local charity store that was putting out all their Spring merchandise today (they store it up and release it all at big events twice a year, it's weird). This store has given up Kitons an Attolinis before, usually consistently has at least Zegnas, Canalis, and nice vintage BB stuff. I was the 5th person (and for sure the only menswear buyer) in line.

Came away with absolutely jack today. Spent five bucks on summer clothes for my kid and he made out better than I did.

Agreed. I'm light in the staple shirt department right now.

Two stops yesterday.
Its all about layers when it comes to clothing nod[1].gif

The good tommy, right? Thing is heavy n looks pretty much unworn. It has a patch that says, "1998 celebrity winter extravaganza, connie stevens, ces, jackson hole, wyoming".This was the highest in price out of all 3 layers. Hoping its the good tommy, the inside is a baby/sky blue and half fleece lined, tuck away hood, and has two reflective stripes going all around.

Nice down jacket mountain hardwear,@Fueco approved?

Now for the best one...drool.gifWarning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nike "Beaches of Rio" Air Max 90s, 11. Might keep for self. I'm a fan of 90s and ACG-esque colorways. Might have to put in brown laces to tone them down a smidge.

Polo patent leather oxfords, size 9.5D. Anyone getting married this spring?

F'ing outstanding Tumi "Villa Tribia" rolling briefcase/carryon. Maybe used twice? They left the keys and all accessories which I thought was a nice touch.

I considered begging my wife to check that one out, now I'm extremely glad I didn't. She went to the opening of a new Goodwill up here instead, picked 20 BB ties and a new knife set for us.

Not bad for Calphalon. More than I wanted to pay but they look brand new.

Anyone picking up Bills Khakis these days? Obviously this is unscientific but I feel eBay is totally saturated since the liquidation and buyout.

passing on bill's khakis. see multiple pairs at almost every stop.

almost bought a pair the other day that was diamond-quilted corduroy...never seen that before, but still passed.
