still fuzzy with a little lemon stitch hanging out. I'm guessing around 1965.
fyi - pretty sure this is a fake.

i'm not sure what's going on in the Kingdom of Levi these days, but i've seen more than a few fakes around. i threw away a pair of redlines that i copped a month ago and it looked better than this.

something for folks to be aware of...

What makes you say this? If you're going to throw out the claim, at least back it up with something. Single digit button number, paper care tag looks good and the red line is faded out on the selvedge line, as you typically see on older Levi's. I say "real" and a good find, @the2ndhandman

i was simply stating my opinion. i should've elaborated but i thought the pic i referenced would tell the story. honest mistake.

i've never seen a levi's rivet back like that. i'm not holding myself out to be the ultimate expert but i've seen my share of these things and it looks wrong. there's too much space and not enough letter. it's missing the hypens between the CO., the S.F., and the L.S. The letters c and o are too far apart...

i looked at my own 70s examples and was doing some other research so i took a hard look at a bunch of examples online. nothing like it. maybe it's a super rare 70s grail whatever. imo, more like to be a counterfeit. i've got a big e right now with a detail that i've been looking hard at and i still don't know if it's legit or not... i see so many fakes that i take an interest in parsing these things. i actually assumed @the2ndhandman had a legit pair and i wanted to gut check a few of the details of my own jeans, in all honesty. appreciate the look but i can't make sense of that rivet.

i've had fakes checked before and i'm not out to pop anybody's balloon... if it's legit than I'm an idiot but i don't think so. maybe the angle doesn't show the proper details but i don't think so. don't mean to be a jerk about it in any case.

Barbour Beacon Heritage Tokito Jacket
http://www.ebay.com/itm/121730927895?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Just snagged this on eBay. While not a thrift I thought this was hot **** being the limited run of this jacket which I have seen go for 1k new.

Translation of listing:

"For sale, this wonderful Barbour Beacon Heritage jacket, the same model of James Bond 007 Skyfall worn!

"The coat is brand new, never worn, still with the labels.

"Size: L
"Color: Green Barbour"
