What makes you say this? If you're going to throw out the claim, at least back it up with something. Single digit button number, paper care tag looks good and the red line is faded out on the selvedge line, as you typically see on older Levi's. I say "real" and a good find, @the2ndhandmanfyi - pretty sure this is a fake.
i'm not sure what's going on in the Kingdom of Levi these days, but i've seen more than a few fakes around. i threw away a pair of redlines that i copped a month ago and it looked better than this.
