Just thought I'd pass this along to all you schlepers out there. Shoes.com is running 25% off most of their Allen Edmonds inventory. Their also having 25% off via coupon code luckybreaks7. Unfortunately, they do not seem to carry any widths, leaving me out of the equation. Good luck and may bankruptcy avoid you.

Thanks. The McClain's are tempting me, but I'm sad to see that there are no Mora's or Taunton's available.

I know Grapevine still has a shitload of Mora's left. I'm keeping an eye on a pair myself.

Aye, but I already have them in suede. The version in brown calf on the other hand, have been elusive in sales for the past 6 months or so. Maybe endless will have another sale soon...

By the way, anyone wanting the Mora's in suede should grab a pair soon, as they've been discontinued by AE as of this last season.

Does the code stack on the sale price?

Forgot I had a shoes.com account. The code does stack. The Ramseys at $172 are tempting. Too bad the Park Ave. isn't included in the sale.

I've been looking for for a pair of these in both suede and calf for about 3 months. Somehow, I missed the endless sale and I;ve been outbid in a number of gvh auctions. I've noticed an influx of drydens recently. I have a pair in black that gets a lot of compliments. I'm thinking if I can get a good price (<$100) for a new brown, I'm going to snap one up. Also have a little regret for not bidding on these though they are blobby: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=330173757138

I just ordered 3 pairs of shoes (Allen-Edmonds, on sale) from shoes.com and used luckybreaks7 coupon code for an additional 25% off. It worked!! I ordered Clifton in black calf leather, Delray in brogue suede and McClain in chestnut burnished calf. The total, including tax and UPS 2nd day, was $564.92. The UPS 2nd day was only $17.50. I can't wait a whole week for new shoes to be delivered; I'm just like a kid waiting for a new toy! I still have lambert oxford in chili grain calf on my "wish list". I've done enough damage for this week. I am really glad I found this thread. I had already been looking at these shoes and trying them on (Nordstrom, Macy's), but was going to go with some discontinued models on eBay because of the $$. My old dress shoes (including Kenneth Cole's; forgive me, I didn't know any better) are being donated. My housekeeper is sending them to the Philippines. I'm not sure how many people there wear size 11 though.

Ramseys were $100 on Amazon for a while there...I'm sure you can find them cheaper than $172 even if they don't still have them.

FYI--last Saturday, AEs were 35% off as part of the Saturday sale (& yes, the 25% coupon worked as well). Don't know if they're plannign to repeat this weekend, but something to look out for.

Unfortunately, my size was gone before the $100 markdown. They're going for less on eBay, but not a whole lot less. I wouldn't have guessed they'd be so popular.

someone should get the AE wholecuts. I never see those, on ebay, SF, on people's feet, anywhere.

err any tips in ordering for us canadians, eh?

I like the Westgates, but I'm concerned about sizing.

I tried on a pair a little over a year ago at a local DSW. As I recall, they were either a half- or full-size smaller than my usual 9.5, but I was surprised to discover that they fit fairly well (at least lengthwise). It was a very narrow size (B?), but I seem to recall that if it had been more like a "D" that the shoe would fit fairly well.

Does anyone have any insight? True-to-size, or should I size down by a half or full size?

the wholecuts.....they just look too wholesome...grainfed...they need to develop some lines....the contour is too bulbuious.
Sorry if i couldnt get my point across.

Regards.
