Hi,

I just traded to a Levis denim jacket. It fits nicely and is in good condition.

I was just wondering if was genuine, and how old it is? I have taken a few photos, the thing that got me wondering was that it had no side pockets, and the leather tag is small, but I have very little knowledge about these things. I hope you can help :)

Thanks

Yeah Hirsh is correct.

It's a vintage.

Even some of the new Levi's jackets come with no pockets.

Thanks guys :) any idea when its from? And is it of any value?

It looks like the ones that were worn in the noughties, when I lived in Pairs for 9 years, and everybody wore either Diesel or Levi's..where I bought my first Japanese jeans - wish I still had them, although they would be too big now and need tailoring - one my all time favourite pair of jeans!!

ATM although I love heavyweight denim, I'm not well (kidney infection etc) and don't go out much do need something comfortable, so I'm wearing my PBJ purple face and 3x1 Biker jeans, which are so cool!

Usually I'm a raw denim freak - preferably Japanese, if not then Cone, all the denim loomed on the original Levi's looms, but stretch jeans are easier when you're sick and resting a lot:)

As to the value, it's not vintage as in 1920's etc, so nor valuable, but it's a classic and a good staple jacket, so wear it and enjoy it!!
