I have a party coming up I want to attend and the theme is black and white. I really do not want to buy anything to go this
event. I'm could I pull off a black blazer and white pants, how? or should I not even try... your thoughts please!!!!!

This is one of those "if you have to ask..." things. In other words, the answer is no, IMHO. But you're free to try.

Christian Chensvold of ivy-style.com has written (and posted pictures) quite elegantly of what he calls "chic ivy," basically decking himself out heavily in black. He proves that it's possible to pull it off with panache... but as anyone will tell you, a black blazer is hard to do well. Here's a nice look, which would probably serve your party's theme well, if you wore it with white pants: http://www.ivy-style.com/spring-finale-exploring-chic-ivy.html

If y6ou need to ask the answer must be no, but if you are following a theme then normal thoughts are suspended.
