Today's suit is the first suit I ever had MTM, in 2003. I have changed shape in the intervening 11 years, and have just gotten this suit back from Brooks Bros. after its latest re-fitting. I was able to find photos of the suit (and me in it) from the fall of 2003, so today, we start the week with a little "before and after" action. I was able to find the same tie, though not the same shirt - substituted a similar one, though.

Been busy touring Russia with an amateur orchestra, leaving no time to post fits. Got back to Sydney today to find this lovely Inis Meáin jumper waiting for me (it had arrived the day after I left, so it's been sitting there for two weeks. Man, I could have really used it in Saint Petersburg

Love it, Stitchy, but to my eye, too much square is showing. Wouldn't normally nitpick like that, but with a white TV fold against such elegantly simple colors and textures, it throws the balance off. Tuck that baby in a bit more!

First day of summer school. The students are there for enrichment and not remediation.

They're as smart as a whip. I'm really going to enjoy teaching them this summer. I only teach 1.5 hours a day, but the money is outstanding. I really goofed with the socks today.

I thought they were a darker blue. Yellow gingham pocket square.

A very summery fit, with linen trousers, the linen/cotton SF club blazer and a light weight and breathable cotton polo. The trousers are in need of a pressing.

I like this fit a lot. However, I think it would be a little bit better if there was a little more contrast between the shirt and the trousers... Just nitpicking though. Really nice casual summer vibe, and that SC is fantastic. Where is the polo from, if you don't mind me asking? I really like the one piece collar.

@Sotiris - good to see you posting again, nice fit!

@in stitches - shirt is light blue or white? Just curious based on the semi-hate white shirts get around here. I think this is one of those cases where either works. Looks great, bud!

New Kamakura shirt, although these pictures make it look like every other Kamakura shirt I have:
