All plush cuddly winter stuff. I really should have added an Albert though.

Great look, Cox!

Not sure a plain white shirt was the optimal choice, though. Blue perhaps, or to make it really country, a large scale tattersall like this:

Rushing about today. Went to a conference in Manchester in the sweltering English summer!

Not only was I the only one wearing a brown tie, I was the only one wearing a tie!

Yesterday it was 35°C and at saturday the weather forecast predict 39°C. So when I dressed that suit it was 10 pm and the temperatures were something around 27-28°C. At the moment I am happy that I work in the night, when the temperatures are lower, and sleep at the afternoon, when the temperatures are higher.

I agree - I work night shifts too, and apart from weather being more clement, you get easier parking access, way less traffic, less chance of speeding tickets (in my neck of the wood, at least, where there's fewer cops available to patrol during the night) and it's usually more calm on the job. All bonus points I will gladly accept over a day job (+25% salary increase because of the night shift bonus, too)!

Today's fit features a new addition to the wardrobe - the jacket - and, in honor of this week's Froday Challenge, and the SW&D challenge, today's attire - both "creative business casual" and "traditional".

Jacket - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt, trousers, & shoes - BB
PS - RLPL

Bold jacket, I like it!

All plush cuddly winter stuff. I really should have added an Albert though.

Wished I had grabbed this suit when it was available on SS's website!

Do-able..but sock-less spoils it for me.
Some shoes are not meant to be worn w/o socks.

If everyone assumes that a combination of a solid blue jacket/suit, solid grenadine, patch pockets, a simple shirt, and a Parisan background will win my approval, they assume correctly.

[still. Those shoes kill me, but I know they are a French thing, so keep on keeping on. And that knot could use some work. ]
