Thanks! Almost went with solid navy grenadine, but I preferred this more open weave from Vanda. And, yes, this is the hat that got messed up. Deteriorating by the day, sadly.

That is where you are wrong. I've tracked down the cloth and I may well get a DB suit made up. Or maybe just copy this SB version.

I have the Gatsby Collection trousers and I've always regretted not buying the jacket, too, when I had the chance.

I'm not sure even you could pull that off, although I'd be happy to find out.

I'm not sure anyone else could pull off that jacket, but I very much enjoy seeing you wear it.

Sometimes it's a shame that I can only give 1 thumb.

Not bad.  The jacket fits you decently.  The biggest issue I see is the divoting and curving at your the shoulder.  The shoulders are too wide for your frame.  In my opinion this is one of the first things to check for when buying/trying on a jacket.  Most other things (not all) can be fixed by a good tailor.  I think the button stance is also too high.  The waist and sleeves look good.  The pants look fine.  They have a good break.  Not too short or too long.  I'm not a fan of the shoes.  They are not oxfords, but bluchers because they have a open lacing system.  Oxfords would have been better here as in my opinion.  Good job.  I hope you continue to post.

It won't be anytime soon, as I am currently reading a "A Guy's Guide to Style" by Roetzel. This is so I can further improve upon my next purchase, and be a little bit more informed. The suit for prom was untimely bought; therefore, I had to deal with the divot issues. I'm going to try to purchase my first sports coat, or blazer from a more familiar brand on this site. Before that occurs, I must go and get measured for my shoulders from a guy who works at Suitsupply. Thanks for the tips though. It just seems a tad bit time-consuming developing my own style, and then slowly purchasing a wardrobe based off of that. I've been getting interested in proper cloth, but I really need to prioritize in getting exact measurements. Once I start purchasing with my finely tuned measurements... then the actual fun begins. Although, it is quite interesting to learn all the components required in producing an amazing wardrobe nonetheless.
