Very sorry I didn't spoiler this. I forgot how. Can't stop looking at this suit! I've always been leery of DBs but this has me very much wanting one.

Edit: Sorry again. The real reason I quoted it was because I was hoping Crat would let us know the maker.

Thank you for the kind words.

Looks like suitsupply from the way the lapels are cut.

Spot on kulata, unaltered RTW Suitsupply. I had the trousers hemmed is all.
Not a fan of the patch pockets myself on DB but the fit, fabric and price outweighed that con.
Oh, I am changing the buttons to darker ones right now. 2 down 17 ( i think) to go.

@New Shoes1 I love that jacket! There was an interesting conversation about exactly the combination you're wearing today (glen plaid tie and guncheck/shepherd's check/district check jackets) in the Grad Lounge earlier this year. Takeaway was that it's hard to do well unless both patterns are fairly muted, but yours looks right in the "sweet spot" to me.

Thanks. It's one of my favorite jackets to wear with or without a tie. Speaking of ties, I may have to check out that discussion as I still have not found a combo where I like this tie. I have better choices for ties for today's jacket.

@New Shoes1 what cloth are your Trousers? I had to retire a pair of flannels this year, and that is the color I want to replace them with. Thanks, DL-

Howard Yount lambswool flannel, made in the U.S. cut.

Thanks, mate! Yeah, it's nice to have light like that, especially since it's somewhat of a rarity here during the rainy season. Most of the time the skies are dark grey here now....

How I don't miss that at all, plus 1000 on the traffic.

Here it's sunny 95% of the time, even in winter. And I missed the seasons. :)

Great 'Der Denker' impersonation, btw. Only better dressed.

Possible FC entry.

This deserves more thumbs. Virtuoso handling of colours, patterns and textures, cohering into your usual strong sense of style.

Maybe just a little too dandy for the sober SF groupthink?

Keep in mind that many an "average person on the street" would find all the plaids and checks that receive praise around here to be rather loud. By the by, I like AAS's fit.

Thanks, guys. I wasn't sure about the bow tie here. I originally had a solid blue bow on with a different square, but I decided to take a risk and switch it up. I do wish I had left out the lapel flower to be honest.

Hahaha, I'm sure you don't miss that at all. Seoul now, isn't it? Will you make a pilgrimage to BnT too?
The lack of seasonal variety here is indeed boring...
Thanks btw, it's likely I'm a better dresser than a thinker

Seoul it is. Wife and I have a standing "joke" we share on occasion, which translates into "like being on vacation". Basically means it's pretty good over here. :)

I will visit Bnt for sure. Passed by a couple of times already on our way somewhere, and they are only a 10 minutes walk from home.
