They show up from time to time, less so in the more popular leathers/models/sizes. I'd say around 1k-1.2k. Non-black is usually cheaper.

They're not really that rare - most sizes pop up fairly frequently if you check all the usual suspects (the two SFs, eBay, and most importantly, SZ). I've got two pairs, both of which I paid in the vicinity of $1k for, which I think is pretty fair. You'll see closer to $1500, but I'm fairly skeptical of that, unless they're pristine/a really nice example.

what's the approximate aftermarket price for CCP tornadoes? or are they too rare?

@Brad, I agree with the above. I notice that most tornados in good condition go for around 1k+. Black obviously gets most traction.

Cool. So expensive, but that shape ...

I am not trying to make it sounds like they are the best boots, clearly there are lots of options, but to me of the zip ups i find ccp most interesting looking. I sometimes turn and see mine standing on the shoe rack (top tier because there is no way to fit them elsewhere) and i feel like its just a cool shoe. I did not feel the same about my a1923 backzip. Current season a1923 is better but very distressed.

I think for your style wither CCP or a1923 (narrower lasted more recent season ones) would mesh well. I am inca curious how the attachment boots faired you given you had some pointy boots in the past.

I think CCP boots work incredibly well in the sort of dark western thin I've been doing. I really like the sillouette, I'm thinking of getting the uppers wet in an effort to shrink them a bit

I really like the Attachment boots, but I miss the pointy silhouette sometimes, and my Kiryuyrik boots are pretty trashed.

Kiryuyrik made out of calf? FYI i had a discussion about scratch resilience and ccp leathers, horse > bison > kangaroo

I doubt CCP wil shrink due to wetness. It may happen but long shot.
