thanks. this would have been great 2+ years ago

the benefits are basically nil nowadays. i was a member when noir was first established (the days of brunello cucinelli, mcqueen, barker black, ect) and it was nice to see the preview sales before it went public but now anyone can see through facebook. occasionally, they send out account credits, which end up expiring for me since i haven't purchased anything from gilt for eons. once there was a warehouse sale with access for noir members where there was a large selection of clothing for pennies on the dollar (~90% off). the best benefit was probably the large candle they sent me.

SIAP. Gant Sample Sale this week. Tomorrow through Friday 10AM-8PM. 5th Ave bw 28&29th. Went today via guestlist. Still some Bastian, lots of Rugger left. Still some M's. Saw an occasional S. Lot of L and XL.

Did they happen to have that Gant by MB Cardinal Fair Isle sweater there? Thanks

was there last night before the official opening today.
lots of real sample sizes mostly mediums.
lots of shirts
polo shirts
coats
women's also.

I personally dislike the entire collection.
but construction and fabrics were solid.
not sure what basic retail is for this collection.
prices were not awful

i was just there. So many people, 1 fitting room that you have to wait 20 mins to get into and the line is easily 20 minutes too. If you like gant mainline, this is for you. Although if you like it so much, why not cop some LL Bean...looks the same and probably better quality.

Just got back from the Gant sample sale. Basically, go if you're M or above. I can only report on the outwears, since I didnt look at the shirts and pants. Outwears were mostly L or above actually. Even M were not that common, lots of 50, 52, 54. I saw ONE blazer in S, and maybe 3 casual jackets in S.

Accessories were pretty good, lots of ties, scarves, and belts.

I wouldnt go for blazers if you're a S or XS, but if you need accessories, dfinitely fit this one up.

My BB FNF order arrived today. Six dress shirts for $180 + shipping... retail would have been just under $500... nice!
