NN, you tried on that coat once, right?

I did and it's out of control. If it's still there I'll take a couple fit pics tomorrow as I'll be in the area. I would pick it up myself if I weren't already saturated in winter coats, it's one of the coolest designs I've seen and the material works perfectly with the shape of the coat - impressed me much more than I thought it would. Has a decent amount of structure, wasn't a floppy robe, but still felt elegant and flowing. I'm not a huge Lemaire fan, not my style, but that coat is gorgeous.

Awesome. Still can't decide though. I want to get away from that "black coat look" because I've been wearing long black coats every winter (not to mention that's what erryone wears on the east coast), but I'm not sure how the grey will even look in person. In some pics the grey fabric looks amazing, but Doshaburi's pic makes it look kinda like ass.

It's such a unique coat that even in black it'll stand out. I think that gray looks great in that picture, though - is it the same wool tweed?

Can you also let me know if you see a women's 34 or 36 in grey tweed?

So my coat arrived yesterday from Suspension Point (ordered via email)

It's so ******* good, maybe the best Lemaire piece I've handled. The tailoring is outstanding-- oversized but not sloppy at all, something that cannot be said for most 'oversized' pieces I've tried from other designers. Only downside is I have to wait for the weather to suck before I can wear it.

Dude you gotta enjoy that weather though because you know it'll turn sour next week or whatever.

Oh, and Joseph sent me the list of the stuff he'll be carrying (dunno if you saw it):

01 - Quilted Coat (Black / Quilted Cotton Bachette)
02 - Kaftan Coat (Grey Tweed / Knit Lambswool)
03 - Denim Jacket (Grey-Blue / Japanese Denim)
04 - Overshirt w/ Pocket (Stone Grey / Virgin Wool and Cashmere Flannel)
05 - Shetland Crewneck Sweater (Granite Grey / Shetland Wool)
06 - Single Pleat Pants (Black / Virgin Wool and Cashmere Flannel)
07 - Single Pleat Pants (Grey-Brown Tweed / Wool - No Lookbook Images)
08 - Five Pocket Pants (Black / Heavy Cotton-Satin)
09 - Strap Boots (Black / Calfskin Uppers + Crepe Sole)

If I never get around to taking pics, The Line has prob the best representation of the grey version
