Thanks. It was a quick in and (long, still not fully...) out. An Italian Job so to speak.

One thing about Florence - shops open late, take 3 hr plus siestas, and close early, and are sometimes randomly closed for personal holiday. Many places are closed Friday afternoons and Sundays, and also don't open Mondays or Tuesdays, or any other day of the week that ends in the letter "y." And when places are open, be prepared for them not to have what you want precisely in stock, due to it being early in the season, mid of the season, end of the season, out of season, or this season, or any other reason. It is best to be there for a week plus to get your items =) and longer if need be.

Are they being sold at Madova?

Do you happen to remember a range? I'm assuming they might be good pickup because of the 20% VAT deduction for US, and also since they're blake stitched. :slayer: (goodyear tends to be more)

Being sold at Manina (across the street from Madova). about 300 euros pre-tax exempt
