Standard colour for the Cavendish is Polo Brown Suede which is more reddish,
Snuff is more yellowish,
Tobacco is also another colour and it's slightly lighter than Snuff.

What is the name for the standard RL (CJ) Marlow wingtip edge/sole color?  I think of "antique" (which is what's chosen for the current Lindrick and Warlow) as a sort of lighter color, whereas the stock Marlows seem to have a darker brown edge.  Or are they the same thing?

There's some C&Js on sale at Frans Boone.  Not sure if that's what you're talking about.

Yep, that was it. Looks like it's the Vincent, not the Cavendish. Both are pretty nice though.

Any interest in a GMTO of a navy shell SWB on the 240 last (the BB Peal SWB), similar to this:

@BackInTheJox

We now have 13 interested participants for the LINDRICK!

For fairness the first 12 listed above will have the opportunity to be part of this.  Should anyone choose to exit, then number 13 will be in.  If anyone else wants to be on the waiting list, just add your info to the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bZ6_ctp_ElaAqFORjMMnwLZw_BRkxZV59z6rk5SvZhk/edit?usp=sharing

The main specs will be:

325 Last
Dark Brown Shell
Double Leather Sole
Antique Edge
Storm Welt
Eyelets

Price:
EU Customers: 700 GBP including VAT (not sure of delivery price to EU countries.  Let me know which country and I'll find out.
Non-EU Customers: 583.36 GBP (aprox $754.00 in today's rate).  Delivery to USA is 30 GBP (approximately $39 today)

Some of you wanted to know about metal toe taps and whether or not we can choose the color of the lining.  I have an email out to Lauren inquiring about the possibility of these specs on an individual basis.

EDIT:  If anyone above wants to exit, please be so kind as to send me a PM.  Thanks!

I'm counting 5 and 5 for eyelets vs. 4X4, I would prefer 4 eyelets and 4 speed hooks. Does anyone who voted majority want to take a side?

I'm hoping it's the same thing, as I don't want my sole edge to be lighter than the stock Marlow.  I'll try to verify this with Lauren.

Sounds good, thanks.  Normally I like a lighter sol edge on alughter shoe, but not everyone does and it is not a big deal.

Same here. Being dark brown, I don't want too light of a sole. My though was that the stock Marlow sole edge is what C&J considered "antique". If so, we'll go with antique. If they consider that color something else, then I will likely change that spec in the MTO to that color, pending the group's opinion.

Oh I agree. Dark brown Lindrick should definitely have the stock Marlow/Lindrick edge.

The Whiskey Marlow should have a lighter one, but that's just one man's opinion.

It's not just the flat welt that's different from the Marlow SWB. It's also a different last, 240 (vs 325), which to me at least, is a different looking last.
