^^^ Am I imagining things, or are those numerals luminescent? I've always heard that only the non-numeral markers on the Explorer I dial were painted with lume.

No, that's correct. No numerals at night (but the 12 marker glows brightly).

* Despite its small size, you'd be surprised how easy this watch is to read at night. All night ...

I picked up one of these:
OmegaGoldenSeamaster.png
It's pretty rare with less than 1,000 ever made. For an Omega it's particularly desirable:

I know Gold very well and it has about 91 grams of 18K Gold. So the Gold value alone is about $2,701. Do any of you watch guys have an idea of the value of an Omega Golden Seamaster like this? The condition is vintage excellent and I'm having it serviced now. It's getting a general servicing, a new stem and a new crystal. The only difference between mine and the one in the pictures above is that the band on mine is of an 18K bark style Gold like that used in many Rolex Presidentials of the era ( but the 18K Omega band is milled from a single Gold block as described above ). My watch guy said that this makes it particularly rare for an Omega Golden Seamaster. I'll get it back on Thursday or Friday and I'll post some pictures.
