Where do you guys like to get your straps? I like Camille Fournet.

Exciting, congrats. I'm looking at a week from today, best case scenario. Should be fun . . . as with many things, we could not have made more different choices. LOL

Damn near impulse bought this one at lunch.  Very cool casual piece:

I'm sure that is imitating something and can't think what...an old Heuer of some sort?

Good that your impulses are indulged elsewhere, I feel.

Reminiscent of the Heuer Autavia.

It's imitating a vintage Hamilton of the same name, from 1971:

And yes - similar to the Autavia.

Congrats, foo! That's awesome.

I guess you must have pulled off the frequently-discussed (but rarely-executed) two-fer.

We joke a lot around here about "just buying both", but it's not every day that somebody really does it.

Re: straps, I have had good experiences with Panatime, (rubber and calf) but earlier this year I overpaid for an OEM Jules Verne (tan sueded gator) and have not regretted it one bit.

As for the Tank, I would think Camille Fournet would be pricey, but hard to beat.

Next week is promising some excellent pron in copious quantities LOL...

+1 on Panatime - always some good deals too.  And the JV is one of the loveliest things I've ever held in my hand - GO have an equally fabulous equivalent in grey.
